blaus de Calella
This photo has been taken in a little village named “Calella de Palafrugell” located in Girona on the “Costa Brava” which is the north coast of Catalonia (Spain).
Here are some interesting things about this special place:
Brava means brave, fierce… due to the little beaches with rocks, trees and deeper and colder sea.
Calella is a beautiful fishing town which retains the old charm of villages of the area before the arrival of mass tourism. I use to go there every summer to relax. It’s a perfect place to disconnect from city daily life.
And it is also “famous” because every summer they celebrate a music festival called “Festival Jardins de Cap Roig” (http://festival.caproig.cat/) with artists from around the world and also an annual meeting of “habaneras” which are typical catalan songs sung by fishermen (the name comes from Habana when our forefathers went to Cuba).

Kloster St. Peter am Madron
(photo: Artep ^_^)
Just shot it today and we had the greatest weather!
St. Peter's Abbey on the Madron (Kloster St. Peter am Madron) was a Benedictine monastery in Flintsbach am Inn in Bavaria, Germany. The church, now a pilgrimage church known as the Peterskirchlein, still stands on the site.

Others
"I looked at other couples and wondered how they could be so calm about it. They held hands as if they weren't even holding hands. When Steve and I held hands, I had to keep looking down to marvel at it. There was my hand, the same hand I've always had - oh, but look! What is it holding? It's holding Steve's hand! Who is Steve? My three-dimensional boyfriend. Each day I wondered what would happen next. What happens when you stop wanting, when you are happy. I supposed I would go on being happy forever. I knew I would not mess things up by growing bored. I had done that once before."

The Bay Bridge
This is another shot from my great night out last week with Jave, Pierre, Tam, Frankie, Vivienne, and Andrew. Such a fun time and great meeting everyone. This shot is an earlier (in the evening) shot from the last one I put up from this night. This was before the later blue hour color, but I really like the detail of the bridge in this one. The lack of color really lets the beautiful design and structure of the bridge stand out on its own. Cheers, and thanks for the looks.
Absolutely and thank you for wanting to feature it. A little about me:
My name is Jared Ropelato and I am a high school teacher and photographer. I live in Northern California and use my breaks from teaching to travel and do photography. I have a website available at www.ropelatophotography.net

Hermitage Castle
Hermitage Castle is a semi-ruined castle in the border region of Scotland. It is under the care of Historic Scotland. The Castle has a reputation, both from its history and its appearance, as one of the most sinister and atmospheric in Scotland.
The castle became obsolete after the Union of the Crowns, in 1603 and fell into disrepair, by the turn of the eighteenth century it was a ruin. Hermitage gave its name to the Viscount of Hermitage, conferred in 1706 on Henry, third son of the first Duke of Buccleuch as a subsidiary title of the Earldom of Deloraine. This title became extinct in 1807. Some repairs to the castle were carried out in 1820 by the fifth Duke of Buccleuch. It is interesting to note that the Scotts are descended matrilinearly from the Douglases of Dalkeith, a cadet branch, and sometimes use the surname Montagu-Douglas-Scott, thus maintaining a continuity with earlier times.
